Returns & Warranty

At Boutique Bums we want your cloth nappying experience to be a great one, your satisfaction is our main concern, so please contact us at any time with your questions and concerns. All prices listed are in Australian Dollars and are subject to change without notice.

Warranty and Returns

Boutique Bums is honoured to work with highly experienced and quality manufacturers, using first class materials. However, if there is an issue with your purchase and you are not satisfied with your product, please see the warranty information below. The warranty is available to the original purchaser of the product only, and proof of purchase must be provided. This excludes international orders.

Warranty

Our cloth nappies have undergone an extensive testing process and we trust our products, our products are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from purchase. We encourage you to wash and care for your nappies using our wash routine, so you don’t void your warranty with us.

If you have purchased a product with a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. If you purchased a product with a minor fault, we may choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund at our discretion. In the event we have made an error, we will cover all shipping costs.

Our warranty covers:

  • defective snaps
  • defective stitching
  • defective PUL
  • flaws in fabric (but not print placement).

Our warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear
  • change of mind
  • the natural breakdown beyond the reasonable life of the materials and components (e.g. fading, pilling and shrinkage in certain fabrics) – natural fibres will shrink after washing;
  • modifications or alterations (e.g. cutting, stitching and removing parts including the care label)
  • damage caused by improper use (e.g. forceful use of snaps)
  • improper care and maintenance (i.e. not following our care instructions, exposing to high heat or chemicals causing delamination)
  • snags
  • improper storage
  • incorrect use and fitting of the products
  • leaking
  • not fitting

Prior to use of our products, please carefully read the care and washing instructions.

Returns

Returned product must be unused, unwashed, as new and in the original packaging with all tags still intact. Please contact us at info@boutiquebums.com.au with the following;

  • Proof of purchase
  • Your name, address and phone number
  • Details of item(s) being return
  • Reason for return of item(s)

Please wait for return approval before sending back, as we cannot accept items without return authorisation. Items must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt. Please send us your tracking number and inform us of the day of lodgement so we can anticipate your return and process asap.

Please choose carefully and contact us with any queries prior to your purchase as we do not allow returns where you have changed your mind about a product, decided you do not like the product or have no use for it.  

  • Returns, refunds or exchanges will not be accepted for change of mind.
  • In the event we have made an error or there is a defective item, we will cover all shipping costs where applicable. 
  • Refunds will be made payable to original payment method used on the order. Please allow 7-10 days to process
  • Returns cannot be accepted for sizing and fit reasons
  • If you seek a refund on any item purchased using a promotional offer, the value of the discount will not be refunded to you
  • Gift cards or clearance items are not eligible for returns

Ensure your return parcel is shipped in appropriate secure packaging and both sender’s and Boutique Bums addresses are clearly displayed on the outside of the parcel. We encourage sending via tracked or registered post for peace of mind.

Please note, we can not guarantee that all products shown are available at all times. If an ordered product is found to be unavailable or out of stock you will be offered exchange or refund.

Warranty and Returns

Boutique Bums Handmade Woollies are lovingly made in-house using upcycled/ repurposed wool blankets and premium cotton lycra.  Due to the nature of the materials warranty is only offered on workmanship of the garment.  Every effort is made to inspect all materials before use, however due to the history of the materials we do not guarantee the lifetime of the product.  However, if there is an issue with your purchase and you are not satisfied with your product, please see the warranty information below.
